Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Fingers with Curry Ketchup

These pretzel-crusted chicken fingers are crunchy, flavorful, and perfect for dipping in a tangy curry ketchup sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 cups pretzel twists, crushed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

Season chicken tenders with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper

In one bowl, whisk eggs and water together

In another bowl, mix crushed pretzels and flour

Dip each chicken tender first in the egg mixture, then coat with the pretzel-flour mixture

Place coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and crust is golden brown

While chicken is baking, prepare the curry ketchup by mixing ketchup, curry powder, and honey in a small saucepan

Heat the sauce over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

Serve the pretzel-crusted chicken fingers with the warm curry ketchup for dipping
