Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust is a delicious alternative to traditional pizza crust, perfect for those following a keto or low carb diet. Made with cauliflower, cheese, and seasonings, this crust is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's easy to make and pairs well with your favorite pizza toppings, making it a satisfying and guilt-free meal option.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Place the cauliflower florets in a food processor and pulse until they resemble fine crumbs, resembling rice

Transfer the cauliflower crumbs to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes, or until softened

Allow the cauliflower to cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel

Wrap the towel around the cauliflower and squeeze out as much moisture as possible

In a large mixing bowl, combine the squeezed cauliflower, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and beaten egg

Mix until well combined

Transfer the cauliflower mixture to the prepared baking sheet and use your hands to press it into a thin, even layer, forming a pizza crust shape

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and firm to the touch

Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and add your desired toppings

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly

Slice the pizza into wedges and serve hot

Enjoy your low carb cauliflower pizza crust!
